Wet Weather In Forecast For Central, South Coasts Through Weekend

It could be a wet few days for the Central and South Coasts.

Light rainfall is possible through Friday afternoon, with rainfall totals under a tenth of an inch. Then, a low pressure system which is currently about 400 miles southwest of Point Conception will move east. It could bring locally heavy rainfall Friday night into Saturday afternoon, with rainfall totals between a half-inch, and inch.

Because the storm is coming in from the south of Point Conception, the heaviest rainfall is expected on the South Coast, in Southern Santa Barbara County and Ventura County.
