A Ventura County man received a nearly five year federal prison sentence for selling assault rifles and other weapons to undercover agents.
Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives and federal agents learned that Joshua Pineda of Thousand Oaks was selling weapons, and arranged some buys. The weapons included assault rifles with no traceable serial numbers.
Prosecutors say the 24 year old man pled guilty to federal charges of selling firearms without a license, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
