Ventura County Health Care Agency Says Some Of Its Patients Are Victims Of Data Breach

Ventura County’s Health Care Agency is releasing information about a data breach involving some of its patients which occurred more than two month ago.

Officials say the breach occurred July 11th, and that their compliance department received the information August 31st. They aren’t saying how many people were affected, calling it a “limited number of patients.” The information released in the breach included names, dates of birth, and medical history.

The agency sent out letters September 13th to the patients impacted by the data leak.
