Two Hurt in Motel Fire In Santa Barbara County

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a motel fire which left two people injured on the Central Coast.

The fire was discovered just before 6:30 Monday morning, at the Sleepy Hollow Motel on the 500 block of Avenue of the Flags in Buellton.

Santa Barbara County firefighters arrived to find smoke pouring from one of the rooms.

They were quickly able to knock down the blaze before it could spread to other rooms. Two people were taken to a hospital for treatment of what were described as minor burns and smoke inhalation.
