System Brings Spring Showers To Parts Of Central, South Coasts; More Potentially On The Way

Parts of the Central and South Coasts have had some spring showers, but meteorologists say there are no flooding concerns from the system for brush fire burn zones.

A low moving through the region dropped some rain north of Point Conception Sunday and Monday.

The highest rainfall total was for San Luis Obispo, with .20” of an inch of rain. Nipomo and Santa Maria each had about .03” of an inch. The main impacts of the system are windy conditions, cooler than average temperatures and increased clouds.

Another low is expected to move through the region Wednesday night, again creating showers mainly north of Point Conception.
