The metropolitan transit district bus service in Santa Barbara has a new bus tracker service, so riders can get information about the bus they ride or where buses are located.
The new smartphone app lets commuters find more on stops and routes, track current bus locations on a map, and set up favorite bus stops.
The new service also comes with the option to text for real-time bus information.
The MTD also says it's changing its shuttles buses downtown from 22 feet to 30 feet soon.
