A South Coast school district has selected a new superintendent.
The Carpinteria School board has hired Diana Rigby as its new superintendent. Rigby is currently head of Concord Public Schools, and the Concord-Carlisle School District in Massachusetts. But, she’s very familiar with the South Coast, having worked for school systems in both Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties.
Previous Carpinteria Superintendent Micheline Miglis left the district last August, after she and the district reached an agreement to part ways after she was on the job for just one year.
