South Coast City Hires New City Clerk

Two South Coast cities are doing a bit of trading back and forth when it comes to a key city department.

It started earlier this year, with the City of Thousand Oaks filling its vacant City Clerk’s post by hiring Ventura City Clerk Cynthia Rodriguez. Now, the City of Ventura found its replacement for its vacant City Clerk’s post in Thousand Oaks.

The City of Ventura hired Antoinette Mann as its new clerk. Mann has more than two decades of experience in clerk’s office, and was most recently a Deputy City Clerk with the City of Thousand Oaks.

City Clerks have a number of duties, including acting as the official custodians of city records, overseeing city council agendas, and coordinating municipal elections.
