Secretary Of State To Speak In Ventura County

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will speak in Simi Valley Sunday night at a sold out event at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

The U.S. Secretary of State is going to speak in Ventura County later this week.

Mike Pompeo is scheduled to appear at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, where he is expected to talk about the U.S. role in supporting Iran.

He recently met with officials in North Korea as part of an effort to work out a nuclear disarmament agreement. Pompeo was sworn in as Secretary of State in April. Before that, he was director of the CIA, and a four term congressman from Kansas.

The Sunday night event at the Reagan Library is sold out.
