Heat Wave On Central, South Coasts To Continue But Expected To Ease Through Holiday Weekend

The heat wave that’s hit the Central and South Coasts has peaked, but we could still see record to near record temperatures through Friday.

There could be temperatures in the 80’s and 90’s Thursday and Friday before we see some cooling over the weekend. Camarillo hit 99 degrees on Wednesday, setting an all time record for the date. The old record was 90 set in 2015. In fact, the 99 is the hottest temperature ever recorded in November in Camarillo.

Because of the hot, dry weather there’s an increased brush fire danger in the forecast through the holiday weekend.
