He wasn’t moonwalking like Michael Jackson, but an elephant which once lived at the late pop singer’s ranch in Santa Barbara County was definitely putting on some moves over the weekend.
“Ali” the bull elephant took advantage of a gate which was accidently left open in his enclosure at the Jacksonville, Florida zoo Sunday.
He walked into a courtyard between the elephant, and giraffe enclosures before he was corralled. Zoo officials say guests were never in danger, and that they used food to lure him back into his home.
Jackson donated the elephant which had been living at his Neverland Ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley to the Florida zoo in 1997.
