A magnitude 4.3 quake off the Santa Barbara County coastline rocked parts of the Central and South Coasts Thursday afternoon.
The quake occurred at 1:38 p.m., and was centered off the coast of Point Conception. The epicenter was in the ocean about 16 miles southwest of Lompoc.
There are no reports of injury or damage, but hundreds of people throughout the region reported feeling the temblor.
