We ask for this information so that we can contact
you with questions about the event, if necessary.
We will not display any of your information on our site.
• Submit each event only once - KCLU will review and post.
KCLU's Events Calendar provides free online listings on behalf of 501(c)3 non-profit organizations that serve the community.
All submissions will be reviewed for approval by KCLU before appearing on the site. Submissions are reviewed usually twice per week, on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Interested nonprofits are strongly encouraged to submit their events at least two weeks in advance.
The poster is responsible for the accuracy of their submissions. KCLU is not responsible for confirming time, date, location, etc.
Preference will be given to concerts and other cultural events as well as education events that, in our judgement, are likely to appeal to the KCLU audience. Placement of an item is solely at our discretion.
KCLU does not accept phone calls or emails from submitting organizations that seek changes in their postings or prime placement in the online Community Calendar.
KCLU will decline to publish listings for events that have a narrow appeal to a small constituency, sectarian services or events intended to proselytize, excluding concerts and other non-religious events at places of worship, and events sponsored by for-profit organizations.
KCLU will also decline to publish events sponsored by or connected to a political party, advocacy group, candidacy, or partisan issue, although an exception may be be made for a forum or debate at which all candidates appearing on the ballot or all sides of an issue are represented.
Listings for time-specific events are preferred and will take precedence over ongoing promotions, recurring meetings, etc.
