A woman was struck and killed by a passenger train in Ventura County.
It happened just after 8 a.m. Tuesday, near High Street in Moorpark. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances behind the death are under investigation.
More than 60 people were on board the Amtrak train, but no one was hurt.
