Ventura County Sheriff's Office Steps Up To Help Families Of Borderline Shooting Victims

An impromptu memorial near the scene of the November 7th Borderline Bar and Grill attack which killed 12 people contiues to grow

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is sponsoring a very special effort to help the families of victims of the Borderline Bar and Grill shootings in Thousand Oaks.

The agency is collecting cards, letters, and care packages for family members. Officers are visiting the families daily to take care packages to them.

People can do cards for specific families, or all of them. The Sheriff’s Office is also accepting gift cards for the family members. However, the agency can’t accept flowers, or food.

Items should be dropped off at the East Valley Sheriff’s Station, on the 200 block of Olsen Road in Thousand Oaks. If you want to make a financial donation, you can find a link on the Ventura County Community Foundation’s website.

Meanwhile, a memorial on Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks near the scene of the November 7th attack which killed 12 people continues to grow, as people stop by to add flowers, candles, and notes.
