Diversity is going to be celebrated in a big way on the South Coast this weekend, with Ventura County’s 18th annual Pride Festival.

The event is presented by the non-profit Diversity Collective Ventura County.

There are receptions and a brunch, but the main event is Saturday’s festival. It features vendor booths, food trucks, and entertainment hosted by a legendary performer in the LGBTQ community, drag queen Lady Bunny.

There’s also a new event this year, the Gender Zone area, which will featuring trans and gender non-conforming entertainment and workshops.

The festival takes place from 11-6 Saturday in Promenade Park.
