Two Ventura County Sheriff's Deputies Injured Responding To Domestic Disturbance

Two Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies are recovering from injuries they suffered responding to a domestic disturbance.

It happened at about two a.m. Friday. The deputies were called to the 700 block of Main Street in Piru by reports of a disturbance.

They found out a man at the scene was wanted for two felony warrants. The officers say when they tried to arrest Alfredo Orozco, the 27 year old Piru man attacked them,. He was arrested with the help of additional officers.

The two deputies were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
