Authorities have now identified two Ventura County men who died in a traffic accident which also left two others injured in the Conejo Valley.
A car was westbound on Hillcrest Drive near Rancho Road in Thousand Oaks at around six Thursday night when the driver hit the curb. It swerved into oncoming traffic, smashing into an eastbound SUV. Arturo Araujo and Gustavo Lopez of Thousand Oaks were pronounced dead at the scene.
The two people in the SUV were taken to a hospital. The crash is still under investigation.
