Trio Of Storms Headed Towards Central, South Coasts

The first in a trio of storm systems is moving onto the Central and South Coasts Monday.

We could see a half inch to an inch of rain for coastal and inland areas, and up to two inches of rainfall in the foothills and mountains.

A second storm is expected to arrive on Wednesday, but it will only bring light rainfall to the region. Ventura County is expected to receive only a few tenths of an inch of rain, with Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties getting even less.

There will be a break on Thursday, with the third storm coming Friday into Saturday. It’s still a little early for forecasters to get a good bead on how much rain to expect next weekend.
