Thomas Fire, Flood Relief Concert Headlined By Jack Johnson Raises More Than $500,000

It was a sold out music event intended to help victims of Thomas Fire, and flood.

The totals are now in, and the word is the March 18th Santa Barbara Bowl event hosted by Jack Johnson raised more than $500,000 for non-profits helping disaster victims.

Some $200,000 will go to United Way managed relief efforts. Johnson was joined at the benefit by Kenny Loggins, David Crosby, and other musicians.

There are two more major local concerts set to take place at the Bowl to aid Thomas fire, and flood relief efforts. One is headlined by Katy Perry, and the second by country star Brad Paisley.
