A Ventura County high school student was arrested after he brought what appeared to be a gun to school.

School resource officers say they learned of a video posted on social media in which a 17 year old boy had what appeared to be a pistol with him at Camarillo’s Frontier High School.

They say no threats were made in the video. Following an investigation, officers say they found the gun at the teen’s home in Oxnard. They say it was a BB gun which resembled a Beretta handgun.

The teen was arrested for felony possession of a weapon on school property.
