It was a storm which came with a lot of warnings about potential flooding and debris flows. It prompted evacuation orders for tens of thousands of people in the Thomas, Sherpa, and Whittier brush fire burn zones in Santa Barbara County. But, with the storm much tamer than expected, those orders were cancelled Tuesday night, eight hours after they went into effect.
Rainfall totals were still strong for much of the South Coast, in the inch and a half to two inch range for many spots in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
A third storm is headed our way, expected to arrive Wednesday night and last until Thursday morning. After that, forecasters say we can expect a few days of sunshine.
