Storm Brings Light Rainfall To Central, South Coasts; Heat Wave In Forecast Next

The Central and South Coasts got mostly light rainfall, but for most people it was a welcome change from the dry weather we’ve been having. Rainfall totals ranged from around a tenth of an inch up to nearly a full inch.

Here are some of the totals from the trio of cold front which moved through our region since Friday.:

Moorpark     .33"                                                                                                                                                          Ventura        .19"                                                                                                                                                              Carpinteria  .18"                                                                                                                                                                      Solvang         .24"                                                                                                                                                 Nipomo        .28"

We’re seeing big change in our weather now, with a heat wave and gusty wind on the way. There are potential sundowner winds in the Santa Barbara area Monday night, and Santa Anas for Ventura County for the next few days.
