A loud bang disturbed a quiet residential street in Carpinteria when a truck collided with a parked vehicle Wednesday morning.
Many people left their homes to check out the scene, and even went after the driver as he tried to walk away.
With the help of the Sheriff's deputies who were arriving on the scene, they found the suspect nearby and arrested him.
Witnesses say the man was clearly intoxicated, and an alcohol bottle was found at the crash scene.
A residential camera caught the scene on video. No one on the busy residential street was hurt.
