South Coast Crews Work Overtime To Fix Infrastructure For Upcoming Storms

Since the massive January 9th debris flow, emergency crews in Santa Barbara County have been clearing areas to open passages for more rainfall runoff in case of a storm like the one in the area this week.

The county says that in Carpinteria and Montecito, the critical infrastructure work has concluded.

This included work on 50 miles of county roads, in 200 culverts, and 20 bridges. Over 6 weeks, there were 8000 trucks loaded with debris coming out of the area.
