There’s good news for some Montecito residents Tuesday, with plans to lift some voluntary and mandatory evacuation warnings and orders.
At noon on Tuesday, the voluntary evacuation warning will be lifted for part of the area of Montecito north of Highway 101. It’s the area west of Olive Mill Road, Mesa Road and Oak Roads. It’s bordered on the south by Hot Springs Road and Sycamore Canyon Roads. And, the eastern boundary is Eucalyptus Hill Road, El Rancho Road, Camino Viejo Road, Summit Road, and Hot Springs Road. Again, the voluntary evacuation warning for that area will be lifted at noon Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the mandatory evacuation order will be lifted for the area bordered by Ayala Lane, Ashley Road north of Sycamore Canyon Road to the 700 block of Ashley Road, east of Cold Spring Road, and South of East Mountain Drive to the 800 block of E. Mountain Drive.
An estimated 10,000 people are currently affected by mandatory evacuations as a result of the January 9th flooding in Southern Santa Barbara County.
