Small Quake Hits South Coast

A small earthquake rocked parts of the South Coast Thursday morning.

The magnitude 3.3 quake occurred at 7:19 a.m. and was centered in the ocean 13 miles southwest of Thousand Oaks.  It was centered nearly seven miles below the ocean floor. No damage was reported.

Meanwhile, a magnitude 2.2 microquake occurred Wednesday afternoon in the Ventura County mountains. The 1:03 p.m. quake was centered 12 miles northeast of Ojai. Again, no damaged was reported.
