Santa Ana Winds Kick Up; Potentially Dangerous Brush Fire Conditions In Forecast

It may be December, but dangerous Santa Ana wind conditions have arrived for Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, creating a late season wave of brush fire danger in the region.

A Red Flag warning for potentially hazardous fire conditions is in the forecast through Thursday. But, some of the strongest wind is expected Monday night into Tuesday, with 50 to 70 mile an hour wind possible.

Many fire agencies in the region have bumped up staffing as a precaution.
