Rain On The Way For Central And South Coasts

Two storms headed to Central, South Coasts

Grab your umbrellas, because it could be a very soggy weekend.

Two storm systems are on their way to the Central and South Coasts. National Weather Service forecasters say the first cold front will swing through the region Saturday night, and early Sunday.

Rainfall amounts could range from around a half inch on the coast, to around two inches in some mountain areas. Then, the second cold front could hit us late Sunday, and early Monday. Rainfall amounts could be up to an inch on the coast, and possibly close to three inches inland.

However, the amount of rain from the second system will depend on how quickly the storm moves through the region. At this point, there are no flash flood warnings for brush fire burn areas.
