Police Investigating Death Of Man In Ventura County

Authorities are investigating the death of a Ventura man who died from a gunshot wound. Ventura Police were called to a home on the 400 block of South Evergreen Street around 11 a.m. today by reports by a man who had been shot. Officers and firefighters arriving at the house found a dead 37 year old man. Detectives are investigating the death as suspicious, but aren’t speculating on what occurred.
