One man was seriously injured, and a second is behind bars following an attack with a machete in Santa Barbara County.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 900 block of Ward Avenue in Goleta Friday night by reports a man had been seriously injured during a confrontation. They found the 51 year old male victim had his fingers severely cut in a machete attack. The injured man had been in an argument with an acquaintance leading to the incident.
Detectives identified Joseph Bianco of Goleta as a suspect. They found, and arrested the 26 year old man Saturday on an assault with a deadly weapon charge.
