A nine million dollar plus project to build a performing arts center on the Central Coast is nearly complete.
Community leaders, school board members, and school staff will get the first glimpse of Pioneer Valley High School’s new 16,000 square foot facility Friday morning.
The $9.6 million dollar project in Santa Maria which was funded through school bonds includes three classrooms, as well as a theater with seating for nearly 300 people.
Construction stated in June of 2015, and the performing arts center is expected to be ready for use around the beginning of 2017.
