New Information On Missing South Pasadena Boy Leads Back To Santa Barbara County

Law enforcement officials say a man killed his five year old son to get back at his wife because of a contentious divorce, and that there may be a significant Santa Barbara County link in their case.

At a news conference Monday, authorities released more details about the arrest of Aramazd Andressian Sr. on Friday in Las Vegas.

His son, Aramazd Andressian Jr., was reported missing April 22 after the father failed to return him during a planned custody exchange. The boy was last seen alive on April 21st at Disneyland. On the 22nd, Andressian was seen at Lake Cachuma, but he didn’t have the boy with him. Search efforts in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties failed to turn up the boy.

It’s expected Andressian will be extradited from Las Vegas to Los Angeles this week for arraignment on a murder charge.
