More Details Released About Traffic Accident That Killed One, Snarled Traffic In Santa Barbara

Authorities are now identifying a motorcyclist killed in a three vehicle collision on Highway 101 which snarled traffic for hours during the afternoon commute in Santa Barbara Monday.

David Joseph Irwin died at a hospital shortly after the crash on the southbound 101 near Cabrillo Boulevard.

The CHP is still trying to determine what happened, but investigators say the accident involved two trucks and the motorcycle. The 27 year old victim was from the Riverside County community of Norco.
