First Lady Michelle Obama and Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton are among the dignitaries planning to attend Nancy Reagan’s funeral in Ventura County on Friday.

About one thousand invited guests are expected for Friday’s private ceremony at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, in Simi Valley.

Meanwhile, the public will get its chance to say farewell for the former First Lady starting tomorrow. Her body will be moved from a Santa Monica mortuary to Simi Valley in a motorcade tomorrow morning. Then, Nancy Reagan will lie in repose for the next few days.

Members of the public can pay their respects from one to 7 p.m. tomorrow, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. People wanting to take part will need to park on the 400 block of National Way in Simi Valley, and busses will take them to and from the presidential library.

Library officials say Mrs. Reagan, who was known for her detail in planning events, orchestrated many of the plans now being implemented for her funeral.
