A man was seriously injured when he was hit by a train in Ventura County.
It happened just after 4:30 Thursday afternoon, near the Oxnard Transportation Center. An Amtrak train had just left the center when it hit a man who was on the tracks near Cooper Road, just off of Oxnard Boulevard. He was taken to the Ventura County Medical Center. His name hasn’t been released.
Oxnard Police are investigating the crash to try to determine exactly what happened.
