A Los Angeles man will spend the rest of his life in prison, after being sentenced in Ventura County for molesting five children.
Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives say Luis Manuel Gonzales molested a child while visiting relatives at their home in Camarillo in November of 2013. An investigation was started, and two additional victims were discovered, leading to his arrest in March of 2014. Detectives say as the investigation continued, two additional molestation victims were discovered, bringing the total to five.
In June of this year, while jury selection was underway, the now 62 year old man changed his not guilty pleas to guilty.
Gonzales was sentenced to three consecutive 25 years to life terms.
