A man accused of possession of child pornography, and of committing lewd acts against children in Ventura County is now being charged with trying to hire a hit man to kill his victims.
Prosecutors say even though David Kenneth Beech is already behind bars in the county, he tried to solicit a killer. Detectives say they learned of his intention, and the person he hired to commit the murders was actually an undercover officer.
They say the 58 year old Simi Valley man was targeting four now adult women he victimized to try to prevent them from testifying against them.
