Los Angeles Rams Executive Says Team Will Look At Keeping Long Term Base In Ventura County

Los Angeles Rams COO speaks to sold out house at California Lutheran University event

After all the talk, the Los Angeles Rams are set to play their first home opener in Los Angeles in nearly four decades on Sunday.

Hundreds of people were on hand at a breakfast in Ventura County Friday morning to hear a top Rams executive talk about the official return of NFL football to L.A.

Kevin Demoff, the Rams Chief Operating Officer, says the team has settled down from its big move from St. Louis and is focused on football. He spoke at California Lutheran University’s Corporate Leaders breakfast, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley Friday morning.

The Rams built an in-season training facility on the CLU campus, and are currently based in the Conejo Valley.

Many team staff members, and some players have bought homes in the area. When KCLU News asked Demoff if the team will consider keeping its operations its operation in the Conejo Valley after their new Inglewood stadium opens in 2019, the team executive said they would start looking at that question in about six months, but will look locally first.
