In the wake of the latest missile test by North Korea, the Air Force has announced plans for another missile test launch from the Central Coast.

Plans call for launching an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile from Vandenberg Air Force Base sometime between midnight, and six a.m. Wednesday. It’s one of a series of periodic test launches from the base officials say are important to test the effectiveness and preparedness of the missile system, as well as of launch crews.

Experts say the latest North Korean launch is concerning because the weapon is believed to have the range to reach a number of U.S. cities.
