Hundreds Of College Students In Ventura County Start New School Year With Community Service Project

More than 500 CLU students take part in community service project in Ventura to start school year

Hundreds of freshmen college students in Ventura County started their college careers Monday not in classrooms, but by working in the community.

It's an annual community service project called "You Got Served" involving a local university, and the City of Ventura.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports California Lutheran University’s entire freshman class took part in an environmental restoration project.
