Heat Wave, Fire Weather Conditions Come To South And Central Coasts

Scorching heat is in your forecast. A heat wave will hit the South and Central Coasts on Monday.

"Coastal areas will be in the upper 80s to the mid 90s.  The inland areas will be in the upper 90s to the triple digits up to possibly 110 in some of the warmer areas," says Bonnie Bartling with the National Weather Service.

The hottest day will be on Tuesday. Then, things will begin to cool.

The hot weather will also be accompanied by sundowner winds and low humidity, bringing critical fire weather conditions to the region this week.
