Five people have been arrested in connection with what authorities are calling a gang related drug operation in Santa Barbara County.
A several month long investigation involving Santa Barbara Police, the FBI, and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms led to the arrests in Santa Barbara and Lompoc this week on a variety of state and federal charges.
Cash, cocaine, and methamphetamine were seized as a number of search warrants were served.
