A Central Coast man is facing a 27 years to life sentence after a jury convicted him of killing his roommate.
Charles Chad Giese was found guilty of the November 2015 murder of Walter Ernesto Vallivero.
The jury rejected the defense contention that the death was the result of self-defense.
Neighbors reported hearing the two frequently argue at the rural San Luis Obispo County home they shared. Giese is set to be sentenced in July.
