A large candlelight vigil was held last night at the Santa Barbara County courthouse, to remember police officers recently killed in Dallas, and those people of color killed in confrontations with police.
The rally was peaceful, with participants of varying ages and ethnicities.
The rally was one of many on the South and Central Coast this weekend, calling for peace and understanding, including gatherings in Oxnard and Ojai.
Participants spoke about bridging relationships between the community and local police departments.
