Businesses Affected By Montecito Mudflow Look To Reopening Of Main Thoroughfare As 101 Reopens

Jan 22, 2018

Along with the freeway, Coast Village Road has been closed off during the Montecito mudflow disaster.

Now that Highway 101 has reopened, businesses in the area have been told that the street should be open on Tuesday.

Not all businesses will be able to reopen immediately; those openings will be based on utilities, inspections, and approvals.

Throughout the mudflow event, the Coast Village Road Chevron stations remained open for emergency workers in need of food and fuel.
