Ventura County firefighters are mopping up a brush fire outside of Simi Valley.
What's called the Yosemite Fire was discovered just after one p.m. Tuesday, in the hills north of Highway 118. No structures were threatened. The fire burned about 60 acres of land.
With the help of helicopters and air tankers, firefighters had the upper hand on the 60 acre blaze by around 3 p.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
