Bank Commits $750,000 To Thomas Fire, Flood Relief In Ventura, Santa Barbara Counties

A bank today announced it will give $750,000 to non-profit groups involved in Thomas Fire, and Montecito flood relief efforts.

Wells Fargo announced $75,000 grants to Women’s Economic Ventures, and the Ventura County Community Development Corporation. It will give $25,000 to Food Share.

The rest of the money will be given out to non-profits during the course of the year. The money is intended to help meet community needs in the wake of the two disasters, and to help revive the local economy, which was hard hit by the fire and debris flows.
