Arrest Made In Connection With $100,000+ Jewelry Store Robbery In Ventura County

A more than four month long investigation has led to the arrest of a Ventura County man for a more than $100,000 dollar jewelry store robbery. On March 24th, a man armed with a gun robbed the Daniel’s Jewelers store at the Camarillo Outlet Stores in Camarillo. The same man was also believed to be a suspect in a Ventura bank robbery. Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and Ventura Police say they used crime lab evidence to help identify Francisco Hernandez of Ventura as a suspect. They say at the time of his arrest, they found evidence linking Hernandez to both the jewelry store robbery, and the bank robbery.
