The environmental group Santa Barbara Channelkeeper says its new study shows that homeless camps on the lower Ventura River, in the Ventura area, are responsible for massive pollution problems. The group is taking the unusual step for an environmental organization of calling for local government agencies to step up with social programs to help permanently remove the homeless from the area. KCLU's Lance Orozco has the story.
